My Tracking Hasn't Updated
We understand it can be frustrating when tracking information appears stuck or hasn't updated recently. In most cases, your package is still moving through the carrier's network and will receive a new scan shortly.
Why Hasn't My Tracking Updated?
There are several common reasons why tracking may temporarily stop updating:
The carrier has not yet performed the next package scan.
Your package is traveling between carrier facilities.
Weather or transportation delays are impacting transit times.
The carrier is experiencing unusually high shipping volume.
The package is awaiting transfer between shipping partners.
A lack of tracking updates does not necessarily mean your package is lost.
My Tracking Says "Label Created"
If tracking only shows "Label Created" or "Shipment Ready for UPS" for a short period after placing your order, your package may still be awaiting its first carrier scan.
During busy periods, carriers occasionally delay initial scans even after the package has been tendered.
Please allow 1–3 business days for tracking activity to begin.
My Package Hasn't Moved for Several Days
If tracking has not updated for several business days, the package is often still moving through the carrier's network but has missed an intermediate scan.
This is especially common during:
Holidays
Severe weather events
Peak shipping seasons
Carrier network disruptions
Many packages receive multiple tracking updates at once after reaching the next processing facility.
UPS Ground Saver Shipments
Many Stegmann orders ship using UPS Ground Saver.
This service includes two carriers:
UPS transports the package through most of its journey.
USPS completes the final delivery.
During this handoff process, tracking updates may appear delayed or less frequent than standard UPS shipments.
In some cases, UPS and USPS tracking systems may update at different times.
